First try at video

Here is my first try at adding video to this blog. It's Margot saying "mama" and David doing this cute thing he started a few days ago. Enjoy!

9 months!

They aren't quite 9 months old yet, but we had their 9 month check up today. Dr. Moylan says they are both doing really well and growing along a normal curve. David is now 16 lbs, 10 oz, and Margot is 13 lbs, 15 oz. David is 25.25 inches long, and Margot is 24.5 inches long.

David is rolling around everywhere and has 3 teeth coming in! He still isn't that in to solid foods, and I talked to the doctor about that. He asked if I would eat rice cereal? I said I tried it, and it is not very good. He suggested we start trying to feed them mashed up food that we are eating instead of "baby food". Sounds like a plan for Mexico.....we LOVE the yogurt down there. Maybe the babies will, too.

Margot is not as mobile as David, but she is talking, talking, talking! She is babbling non stop during the day - it is adorable.

I'm working on getting some videos together to post soon.

Milestone Mania!!!

The twins have been busy! David and Margot are both sitting by themselves. David got his first tooth! And Margot says Mama, Dada, and Baba! Very exciting.

Last night was another first - we had our first non-family babysitters! Stephanie and her daughter Laurie came over and had a blast with David and Margot. Margot was not so sure about the "strangers", but David was in heaven. Laurie read him all his books!

More milestones

David sat by himself yesterday! And Margot is getting very close. We might even be able to count it - but maybe not quite yet. :)
Also, Margot has joined her brother in the skill of being able to hold her own bottle (most of the time - sometimes it gets very heavy for them, you know). And she is thinking she should be eating rice cereal like her brother, too. It is hilarious. She takes a bite, makes a cute but disgusted face, and then opens her mouth for more. Ha!
I promise I will post pictures soon, but until then, you can see a cute video that Jane posted at:
