Hola and adios Mexico

We're back!  Me llamo David.  We are finally home from our vacation in Mexico.  What fun!  We went down to see Grandma and Grandpa....and Ba - who we hadn't seen in two weeks.  Mom, Dad, and Da took us.  We got to fly on a plane again.  When we arrived, Grandpa was there to pick us up.  It was so warm!  We had so much fun dancing and swimming and playing on the beach.  Check out these rockin' (tee hee) chairs Grandma got us.

We got some balloons from the singer at La Palma.  We had a dance party with some other kids.  I'll tell ya right now, we've got rhythm!  I like to twirl in circles and wave my arms.  Margot follows and stomps her feet and waves her arms.

Here's Dad trying to take the balloon from me so that I can finish my arrachera.

Grandma kept giving Margot dance ideas for her next turn on the stage.

We had a lot of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's neighbor's house playing in the yard.  The grass was so fun!  We can't wait for this year's Easter Egg Hunt.

This is my, "Whatchu talkin' bout Willis" face.

For the very first time, Mom and Dad let us play on the beach!  Whoa!  Well, it wasn't too big a risk because they made us stay on some leashes tethers, yes thats more PC....but it was still cool.
Dad and I before strolling into the surf.

Da and Margot doing the same thing.  It took Margot awhile to trust the situation, but once she did, whoa nelly did she take to it!

Lost camera battery charger

OMG  Mom lost the camera battery charger, so we are unable to post any pictures.  Seriously, Mom, you're killing us!

We have been busy, though.  We will now say "thank you" on demand.  We are always fighting over our "Woody" doll that Marci gave us.  I crack up when David calls him 'Doody.'  We have been a little lost this week because we have not seen Ba.  Mom and Dad said she went to Mexico and that we'll see her in a week or so.  Seriously, without us?  We have been playing at our house ALL WEEK.  Mom and Dad got the ball pit out, which was cool.

Today, GAM came to see us!  SWEET!  To the blog reading rookies out there GAM is our Great Aunt Mary.  She brought us some cool pinwheels from some place called San Francisco.  We are in love.  We'll post pictures if, ahem, Mom ever gets it together and can charge our camera battery.

Anyway, it has been really cold and snowy here.  David thinks the snow is great, but I say YUCK.

Sorry for taking so long to post.  I was waiting on the camera but, ugh, still nothing.

TTFN,
Margot

Oh yeah, I'll tell you something, I think you'll understand.

Hi guys.  It's David.  We can't swing outside so we have been finding indoor diversions.  One of our favorite things to do is play on our indoor slide.  Here is a pretty good video showing our skills.  I have recently learned to spin around until dizzy, and I'm pretty proud of being able to do it without spilling a drop of milk.

We had breakfast with Aunt Martha, Uncle Chris, and Jeff Ness on Sunday (First Watch, of course) and took these photos after.  Jeff and Chris taught me to drink from a straw.  In the words of Miley Cyrus (Disney star), 'it's pretty cool.'  Aunt Martha thought we looked cute enough in our coats to snap even more photos of us before we grow out of them.  In the last pic you will notice that we're getting pretty good at holding hands on command.

I take after my Pops, so naturally I have figured out how to wrap mom around my little finger....I help her with laundry!  She thinks I'm such a good boy when I put away the socks.  I can't do the shirts yet.  Hushed tone - She doesn't realize I can fold clothes, I don't think I want her to know for now so I just put the clean socks in the clean laundry bin while she puts things away from the dryer.  It's so easy to make her happy.  Margot is spending all this time showing Mommy new words and blowing kisses, but all I have to do is put socks away.  Ha!  See ya soon, Baboon

Margot's Movie Time

Hello Fair fans, it's Margot here with a movie for you.  How about a winter montage I put together beginning with one of my favorite activities with Daddy?  I also added a clip from earlier this season where David is showing me the proper way to ride my horse.  If you are true, observant fans, you will rekognize, recognise, recognize the outfits we are wearing from David's last post.  So you all know by now that I'm pretty great, but get this, I am taller than my brother!  Dad wants me to be tall enough that I can go out in the mornings and get him his paper.  Ha!  That'll be the day.

We're back!

Okay, Mom and Dad finally got a new computer!  This is good.  This means we can re-connect with all our fans out there.  Margot said we should post a bunch of pics to catch everyone up.  In the first two I am rocking a pink collared shirt under my sweater.  Pretty impressive, I would have to agree.  Before I take all the credit for my extraordinary style, how about Margot with a choo-choo hat and her gum ball dress?  Watch out Vanity Fair!

Sleepy!

Mom keeps showing this video to everyone, so we thought we might as well post it for the world to see.  Mom has been taking lots of other pictures, but our computer has been down, so posting has been difficult.  We will be better in 2011, I promise!  I'm off to take a nap.....Love, Margot.

First job

Hi everyone, it's David here!  We had our first job this weekend....as a flower girl (Margot) and a ring bearer (me) for aunt Martha and uncle Chris' wedding!  It was so much fun.  Ba and aunt Denise converted our wagon to a wedding-worthy carriage.  It was a game day decision whether Margot would go down the aisle, but our new friend Maddox came through with some Cheerios and "made it work" (can you tell mom watches Project Runway with us?).  I know we haven't posted in a while.  The computer was broken for a while, um, maybe because we bent the screen back too far.  Oops!  Since we last posted, we had our first REAL Halloween.  Mom and Dad dressed us up as chicks (and ate all our candy).
Things are crazy at our house right now as Mom and Dad are getting ready to host Thanksgiving.  We are sure we'll have lots of good pics to post soon.
Later, alligator!
