Birthday pictures and SWINGING

Here are some pictures from the fabulous birthday bash we had for Prince David and Princess Margot! Ba created the most wonderful throne area for them to preside over their audience (and open presents). They LOVED all their gifts and their birthday cakes. David at ALL of his!!!

One-year-olds go to the park, so Bubba, Aunt Lindsey, and I took David and Margot to the park to go on the swings. They absolutely loved swinging! I have taken them every nice day since, and they are still so excited every time.

On Mother's Day, we did the Mother's Day 5k with Aunt Mary Vicky......and saw Great Aunt Mary there! David and Margot are wearing their "my first 5k" t-shirts GAM gave them (hard to see under all their layers - it was COLD) and the berry hats that Lisa knit them!

David and Margot are ONE!!!

One year ago today David and Margot came into our lives!!! They are such blessings.

Easter update

Margot and David have been growing so much! They turned 11 months old, and Margot got two teeth! David already has six teeth and is VERY mobile. He's not walking yet, but is crawling everywhere and is pulling up on (and chewing on) everything. Margot isn't crawling yet - she prefers to sit and play.

We had a fantastic time at aunt Martha and uncle Chris' house for Easter!

We've been enjoying the nice weather with lots of get togethers and parties. We had a party for our friend Peter's birthday and have attended several family dinners.

David is on the move! He is crawling around and pulling up on everything. And miss Margot is loving to sit and play with her books. See the below "action pics" that Ba sent me while I was at work. Such fun!

Bath time video

Finally in love with bath time!!!

David and Margot have never been fans of bath time....but tonight we had a breakthrough. We used their sit-up bath seats for the first time, and they LOVED it! They were splashing around with each other and having the best time. Hooray!

David and Margot are having SO much fun in their Johnny Jump-ups. Da built some railings so they could jump together in the large doorway from Ba & Da's dining room.

Mexico

We had a fantastic trip to Mexico with the babies! They were angels on the plane rides (phew) and were all-around good international travelers. They now have their first stamps on their passports!
